Spread it onto toast, crumpets, croissants or scones, spoon it through yoghurt, or serve it with pancakes and berries. It also makes an excellent filling for tarts, cakes, sponge rolls and pastries, or as a quick dessert shortcut — layer with whipped cream and crushed biscuits for an easy lemon parfait.
