Shop Hunter Valley is a curated retail experience located inside the award-winning Hunter Valley Visitor Information Centre and operated by Cessnock City Council. With over 70,000 visitors annually and a growing online presence, we provide a vibrant platform to showcase the region’s finest handcrafted and locally made goods.

As a proudly council-run initiative, Shop Hunter Valley is committed to supporting small businesses and celebrating local creativity. We currently represent over 60 local makers offering gourmet foods, condiments, skincare, candles, art, jewellery, homewares and more — all available in-store and online.
By joining our community of stockists, you gain:

How It Works
We operate on a consignment model, which means:
- You retain ownership of your products until they are sold
- You set your wholesale pricing
- Products are initially trialled for a 3-month period
- We handle customer sales, reporting, and payment processing
- You'll receive a detailed sales report each quarter, followed by prompt payment once invoiced
All suppliers must meet our quality standards and align with the Shop Hunter Valley brand. We’re looking for products that are well-made, professionally presented, and uniquely local.
